Starting any business takes a lot of time, energy, resources and most of all .... money. Launching the Foundation for American Cultural Exchanges and obtaining determination from the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit makes our job even bigger. That's why we're looking for a grant writer who can help us find money to pay for our start-up costs.

Listed below are some of the line items on our budget. If you can help by making a cash or a in-kind donation, please go to our website and click on donations.

Why would I want to contribute to some PC program designed to help possible terrorists get student visas?

Dear MasonM:

We are very sorry that you have drawn the conclusion indicated in your comment to our blog; it is unfortunate that terrorists threats have caused you to become desensitized to efforts of human compassion, love and sharing. The Foundation for American Cultural Exchanges, Inc. has not established educational programs, cultural awareness or exchanges, nor programs of economic development with countries of known or demonstrated ideologies of terrorism. Our desire is to create bridges between ourselves and people of other culturals wanting to impact the common good of all. Perhaps you will reconsider and join in our efforts.
